Tomato Alfredo Chicken Pasta

Tomato Alfredo Pasta with Grilled Chicken
Tomato Alfredo Chicken Pasta

I liked this Tomato Alfredo Chicken Pasta recipe, but I had to tweak it a bit. I thought a full can of tomato sauce was a bit too much, so I only used about 1/2 the can. Next time I think I will try spaghetti sauce in place of the tomato sauce. I also added a little bit of crushed red pepper and some regular pepper to add a little bit of spice. The chicken was so good and really added to the flavor of the pasta. One of these days i'll use the Garlic Herb Wine Marinate to make some chicken with a side of potatoes.

Tomato Alfred Chicken Pasta Recipe

1 pkg Grill Mates Garlic Herb Wine Marinate Packet
3 boneless chicken breasts
1 cup alfredo sauce
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce (I used a little less per taste preference)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
8 oz penne pasta, cooked and drained

Prepare marinade according to package directions and add the chicken. Allow to marinate for several hours. Grill chicken until done. I used my George Foreman grill. Slice into strips.

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions, drain. In a large pot, combine alfredo sauce, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Stir in the pasta. Serve with sliced chicken.
