Creamy Chicken Pillows

Cream Chicken Pillows Covered in Cracker Crumbs

These creamy chicken pillows are so good and easy to make. They have the perfect amount of creaminess and crispiness. I can't wait to make these chicken pillows again! I added a little bit of sriracha sauce to add a little bit of spice and to switch up the flavor a bit.

Creamy Chicken Pillows Recipe
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
8 oz Cream Cheese
1/4 cup Butter
2-3 cups Cooked and shredded chicken
1 Egg
1 sleeve Saltine Crackers, crushed
1 can Cream of chicken soup
Milk: 1/4 cup
About 2 spoonfuls Sour cream
1/2 cup Shredded cheese

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Soften 1/4 cup butter and 8oz block of cream cheese; stir to a smooth consistency. Add cooked shredded chicken.
2. Lay out crescents on a cookie sheet. Stretch the crescents out. Place a couple spoonfuls of the creamy chicken mixture onto the center of each crescent then fold the crescent around the mixture so that none of it is showing. Make sure to seal it well.
3. In a small bowl, beat egg and a little bit of water (a tablespoon or two). Dip the crescent pillow in the blended egg. After dipping, proceed to dip it into the crushed saltine crackers. Place on cookie sheet. Cook the pillows for 20 minutes.
4. For the Topping: Mix cream of chicken and milk into a saucepan. Add as much milk as you want to get it to the consistency you like. I really like this with a little bit a sriracha sauce and cheese added to the sauce.
5. If you'd like, you can add sour cream and cheese on top.
